  • Aristophanes' "The Clouds". Translation, Introduction, Notes and Historic-mythological  Glossary. 2 vols, Kuwait: International Theatre Series No. 215-216, August-September, 1987. This Play was also produced and broadcasted by the Second Programme, Cairo 2 Radio.

  • Sophocles' "Trachiniae". Translation, Introduction, Notes and Mythological Glossary. Kuwait: International Theatre Series No. 249. June 1990. This play was also produced and broadcasted by the Second Programme, Cairo Radio.   • The problem of Heracles' Apotheosis in the "Trrachiniae" of Sophocles and in "Hercules Qetaeus" of Seneca. A Comparative Study of the Tragic and Stoic Meaning of the Myth. A thesis for the Ph.D Degree (with summary in English). Athens 1974 (Out of print).

CREATIVE WRITING

  • "Cleopatra Adores Peace". General Egyptian Book Organization 1984. This play has been translated into Italian (Palermo 1992), English and French (L'Harmattan, Paris 1999).

  • "The Blind Guest Restores his Sight". The General Egyptian Book Organisation 1986. This play was staged in Kuwait under the title "Al Dinar" 1983. A French Translation is under publication.

  • "Al-Hakim Does Not Join the Hypocritic Procession", "Alam-Al-Kitab" 19, July-Sept. 1988 Staged in Luxor July 1990 and in the Egyptian Opera House, Cairo July, 1991. Issued as a book. Cairo 1999. French and Italian Translation are prepared.

  • "The Goats of Oxyrhynchus". El Markaz El Handasi. Cairo 2001.
